World-famous sculptors around the world

Many Solo competitors in sand sculpting are immensely creative and can shock the world with their beautiful artworks. Even though the painting depends on the specific theme in almost every global event, these people have stunned us by their unique ways of expressing their ideas and thoughts into action.

Dan Belcher from Missouri

Famous Sculptors

Since 1990, Dan has been creating sand Sculptures professionally. He is honored to have learned from many people who are well versed in specific art forms. To get the privilege of collaborating, Dan has known about the famous and best sand sculptors from all over the world. He had won 14 world championships in the team, Solo, and doubles categories and participated in many other contests. He also did thousands of projects over many countries like Japan, China, Italy, Denmark, Australia, etc.; he loved working with the balance of creative and physical sites of working with sand. He also ran many marathons.

Kingsand

Famous Sculptors

A group of 3 sand sculpting people called KingSand had come together to produce some of the best words in the field of art ever created in both sand and water. Winning many events all around the world, this trio is a name to recognize. Dan Glover, Jeroen Meijer, and Martijn Rijerse are the members who had formed this group. They have won many Awards individually as well as the group. KingSand toured around the world and attained success by winning numerous awards, which are in sand sculpting and works in the ice and snow.

Fergus Mulvany

Sand Sculpting

Fergus Mulvany studied fine arts in Dublin, Ireland. He never expected that he would be a sand artist while he was looking. Even as a kid, he never drew on the sand and played at the beach. Since one of the faithful events that happened in 1993, he developed his passion for this and started competing with artists worldwide. Fergus also works as a snow and ice sculptor during winter, and his works are more with traditional materials like steel, cement, wood, and glass.

He won 1st prize at the Tournament of Champions in Washington in 2011 and 2nd prize and Sculptor’s Choice Awards at the US Sand Sculpting Challenge in San Diego at CA in 2012. He also won 4th prize at the 2011 US championship in Florida and Sculptor’s Choice Award in Solo International Championship 2011 in Moscow of Russia.
