In honour of British Columbia's 150th Birthday, Black Press and the Village of Harrison Hot Springs issued a sand sculpting challenge:

Who can build the World's Most Beautiful Sandcastle?

Three cities responded and visitors attending the event between March 31 and May 7th, the start of the Tournament of Champions, voted for Team Victoria! Their votes raised over $1300 for the Terry Fox Foundation.
The three sandcastles now form the entrance to the Tournament of Champions and will be on display until October 19th
